| Editions | Retainful · Retainful Premium plan ($) | WooCommerce PayPal Payments |
| Pros | Abandoned cart recovery and signup popups for WooCommerce; Next-order and referral coupons created automatically; Works with WPML, Polylang and WooCommerce Multi-Currency | Official PayPal gateway with smart buttons on product and checkout pages; Pay Later, card fields and Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets; Subscriptions, saved payment methods and ShipStation order tracking |
| Cons | Plugin is being deprecated in favour of a newer Retainful plugin; Needs a Retainful account and sends store and visitor data to it; Premium features need a paid Retainful plan | Available payment methods depend on PayPal account and country eligibility; Many modules are switched on in settings, so the setup has several steps |
