| Editions | Discount Rules PRO 2.0 ($) | WooCommerce PayPal Payments |
| Pros | Buy-one-get-one and buy-X-get-Y rules; Conditions on user role, shipping zip, order date and purchase history; Free shipping and set-price discount rules | Official PayPal gateway with smart buttons on product and checkout pages; Pay Later, card fields and Apple Pay or Google Pay wallets; Subscriptions, saved payment methods and ShipStation order tracking |
| Cons | Needs the core Discount Rules plugin installed; Licence key required and checked against the vendor; Updates are delivered from the vendor, not WordPress.org | Available payment methods depend on PayPal account and country eligibility; Many modules are switched on in settings, so the setup has several steps |
