WP Rocket vs Perfmatters

WP Rocket and Perfmatters are both paid performance plugins, but they do different jobs. WP Rocket is a caching plugin that applies page caching, browser caching, minification, lazy loading, preloading and database cleanup with sensible defaults. Perfmatters does not provide page caching. Instead it lets you switch off unneeded scripts, styles and WordPress features page by page, and adds lazy loading, database cleanup and font handling. It is meant to work alongside a caching plugin. Both offer CSS and JS minification, CDN support and database cleanup, and neither has a free version.

Verdict

WP Rocket suits owners who want caching and general speed settings handled in one plugin. Perfmatters suits developers and site owners who already have caching and want finer control over what loads on each page.
