WordPress to Buffer
7,000+ active installs · Rated 4.5/5 · Updated October 24, 2026
A plugin that sends WordPress posts, pages and custom post types to a Buffer queue when they are published or updated, so Buffer shares them to your social profiles on its schedule. Templates pull in titles, excerpts, images and other post details for each message. It suits sites already using Buffer. The plugin is free but needs a Buffer account, and a paid Pro version adds more networks and options.
Pros
- Sends posts to Buffer's queue on publish or update
- Log of what was sent to Buffer
- Works with custom post types
Cons
- Needs a Buffer account and connected social profiles
- Instagram and Pinterest direct posting are Pro only
- Scheduling happens inside Buffer, not on the site
