ManageWP - Worker
1M+ active installs · Rated 4.6/5 · Updated August 21, 2026
The connector that lets the ManageWP dashboard manage this site. Once linked, it sends site stats, runs bulk updates and incremental backups for the dashboard. It suits agencies and owners who manage many WordPress sites from one place. The Worker updates itself from the vendor's storage, so it runs code the vendor publishes, and the dashboard is a separate hosted service.
Pros
- Site stats and updates from one dashboard
- Incremental backups driven by the dashboard
- Free connector; the dashboard is a separate hosted service
Cons
- Self-updates from the vendor's storage without a site-side review
- Needs a ManageWP account to be useful
