Spectra Legacy
1M+ active installs · Rated 4.7/5 · Updated October 9, 2026
Spectra Legacy is the free legacy build of the Spectra block library for the WordPress block editor. It adds content blocks such as post grids, FAQs, galleries and styled contact-form blocks, plus a popup builder and starter templates. It suits existing Spectra users who want no new features. Its honest limit: it gets security and compatibility fixes only, since new development moved to Spectra Blocks.
Pros
- Large free set of content blocks for the block editor
- Popup builder and starter template library included in the free code
- Styling blocks for Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms
Cons
- Receives security and compatibility fixes only, with no new features
- AI and template features depend on a credit-based ZipWP service
