Batcache is a full-page cache for WordPress that stores rendered pages in Memcached and serves them to anonymous visitors. It reduces CPU and database load during traffic spikes. It suits busy sites that already run Memcached, since it needs its own advanced-cache drop-in. The Batcache Manager plugin only adds a small hook for clearing cached posts, so it is a technical tool rather than a settings screen.
