30,000+ active installs · Rated 4.8/5 · Updated October 14, 2026
A plugin for customising the email notifications WordPress sends, using a visual editor and shortcodes to insert details such as author or post title. It covers the default WordPress emails and adds many new notification types, sent to chosen users, roles or several roles at once. It suits site owners who want tailored alerts without code. The core plugin is free, and paid add-ons and bundles extend it.
Pros
- Visual editor and shortcodes for each notification
- Covers default WordPress emails and adds new ones
- Sends to users, roles or several roles at once
Cons
- Advanced features need separately licensed add-ons
- Mail goes through wp_mail, so delivery depends on your SMTP setup
- Premium add-ons use an external licence store
