Colours, font sizes and extra sections such as about and contact details can be changed from a settings panel, and it includes an AJAX subscription form and icons. It suits small businesses and agencies. A free version is available, and a paid Pro version adds templates and newsletter integrations.

Pros

  • Coming soon or maintenance mode with countdown and slideshow
  • Admin can still view the site while the page is up
  • Email sign-up form using WordPress mail

Cons

  • Many features are only in the paid Pro version
  • Sign-up emails go through wp_mail, so mail delivery must work
  • Readme and screens promote Pro features heavily
