Search & Filter
40,000+ active installs · Rated 4.5/5 · Updated August 22, 2026
A plugin for building search and filter forms that let visitors narrow posts by category, tag, custom taxonomy, post type or date. Fields can appear as dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons or multi-selects, and the form can work as a pure filtering tool. It suits blogs, catalogues and listing sites. The free version covers the basics, and a paid Pro version adds custom fields, Ajax results and a drag-and-drop editor.
Pros
- Filters by taxonomy, post type and date from one shortcode
- Simple setup with no code needed for common forms
- Free edition is lightweight with few extra assets
Cons
- Some advanced options are only in the separate pro edition
- Admin screens show promotion for the pro edition
