WP-CommentNavi
700+ active installs · Rated 5.0/5 · Updated August 9, 2026
WP-CommentNavi replaces the plain older and newer comment links with numbered page links, and can show a drop-down list for long comment threads. It suits blogs with many comment pages that want readers to jump between them. It is a small, code-only plugin with no paid tier. Its limit is that it only changes comment pagination, so it does nothing for posts or archives.
Pros
- Numbered comment page links instead of older and newer only
- Drop-down list style for threads with many pages
- Larger jump numbers such as 10, 20 and 30 for long threads
- Text, class names and CSS can be changed in settings or by filters
Cons
- Only changes comment pagination, not post or archive navigation
- Requires WordPress 6.8 and PHP 8.2 or newer
