WP Rocket | Disable Cache Clearing
A companion plugin for WP Rocket that switches off its automatic cache clearing. Pages stay cached when content, users, menus, widgets or Elementor settings change, so the cache must be cleared by hand. Suits developers and staging setups that want full control over purging. It is an advanced option and can serve stale pages until someone purges the cache.
Pros
- Stops WP Rocket purging the cache on content and settings changes
- Covers WooCommerce variations, Elementor and user changes
- Shows a notice on the WP Rocket settings page while active
Cons
- Pages can stay stale until the cache is purged by hand
- Advanced option that depends on WP Rocket internals
