Adds SVG uploads to the WordPress Media Library. Uploaded SVG files are sanitized by default to remove scripts and unsafe markup, and an admin screen sets which user roles may upload or sanitize SVGs. Media Library previews are included. It suits sites that need SVG logos and icons with basic safety controls. It only handles uploads and does not edit SVG files, and the unrestricted option lets unsanitized SVG in.

Pros

  • Sanitizes uploaded SVG files by default
  • Per-role control over SVG upload and sanitization
  • SVG previews in the Media Library

Cons

  • Unrestricted SVG upload is a security risk if enabled
  • Only handles uploads; no SVG editing
  • Shows ShortPixel promotion screens
