Absolutely Glamorous Custom Admin
20,000+ active installs · Rated 4.5/5 · Updated May 30, 2025
A plugin for customising the WordPress admin panel, login page, admin menu and admin bar in fine detail. It can hide or rename menu items, remove WordPress branding, recolour the dashboard and login screen, and tidy widgets, help tabs and screen options. It suits agencies delivering branded client sites. The plugin is free, and a separate paid product, Cusmin, adds advanced customisation and branding features.
Pros
- Wide range of admin, login and admin bar tweaks in one screen
- Settings can be exported and imported between sites
- Can limit who sees the customisations by capability
Cons
- Many changes are cosmetic hiding rather than real access control
- Settings screen carries Cusmin upgrade and donation prompts
- Per-role configurations need the separate paid Cusmin plugin
