Carousel by Jetpack
A feature of the Jetpack plugin that turns standard WordPress galleries into a full-screen photo viewer. Visitors can browse images in a carousel, read captions and descriptions, view EXIF details and leave comments. It suits photo-heavy blogs already using Jetpack. Carousel is included free in Jetpack, which itself offers paid plans for other features such as backups and security.
Cons
- Needs Jetpack; not a standalone plugin
- Images only, no video
