WooCommerce Stripe Gateway
700,000+ active installs · Rated 3.1/5 · Updated October 16, 2026
The official Stripe payment plugin for WooCommerce. It takes cards and many local and buy-now-pay-later methods on the store, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link express checkout, plus subscriptions and pre-orders support. Suits stores that want Stripe as their processor across many countries. Limit: it needs a Stripe account and API keys, and the agentic commerce feed is behind a feature flag.
Pros
- Cards plus many local and buy-now-pay-later methods
- Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link express checkout
- Subscriptions and pre-orders support
Cons
- Needs a Stripe account and API keys
- Many payment methods to enable and check per country
- Requires WooCommerce 11.0 or newer
