WP Rocket | YouTube Preview Image Resolution
A small companion plugin for WP Rocket that sets the resolution of the YouTube preview images used by its lazy loading of videos. The resolution is fixed in the code, so changing it means editing the file. Suits sites that want a sharper or lighter preview image for embedded YouTube videos. It does nothing on its own and needs WP Rocket to have any effect.
Pros
- Sets the preview image size WP Rocket uses for lazy loaded YouTube videos
- Small single-file code with one filter hook
Cons
- Resolution is hard-coded and needs a file edit to change
- Only useful alongside WP Rocket
