Yoast SEO: ACF Analysis
Free plugin that adds the content of Advanced Custom Fields to the Yoast SEO analysis. Without it, Yoast scores a post only on its main content, so text held in ACF fields is ignored. It also covers taxonomy term descriptions. It suits sites that keep most of their copy in ACF fields and use Yoast for SEO. Its limit is that it needs both Yoast SEO and ACF active, and it only feeds text into the score.
Pros
- Free, GPLv3
- Adds ACF field text to Yoast post analysis
- Covers taxonomy term descriptions too
- Small code base with no settings screen
Cons
- Needs Yoast SEO and ACF both active
- Only feeds text into the score; does not check the fields themselves
- Relies on Yoast filters that may change between versions
