Adds a test payment gateway that only administrators can use, so a WooCommerce checkout can be run end to end without a real card charge. Suits developers and support teams checking that checkout works. Limit: for administrators it skips payment and marks orders completed, and the bypass is switched on at activation, so it is risky on a store taking real orders.

Pros

  • Test payment gateway for checkout checks
  • Available to administrators only
  • Runs a full checkout without a real charge

Cons

  • Admin orders complete without any payment
  • Payment bypass is switched on when the plugin is activated
  • Risky on a live store that takes real orders
