Avalara AvaTax calculates sales tax for WooCommerce orders using an Avalara account. It sends carts and orders to Avalara, applies the returned rates, can check shipping addresses and VAT numbers at checkout, and records tax exemption certificates. Suits stores that sell across many tax areas and already hold an Avalara licence. Limit: it needs an Avalara account, a licence key and a configured company, and several features need separate Avalara plans.
