Official Afterpay payment gateway for WooCommerce. Customers pick Afterpay at checkout, are redirected to Afterpay to approve the purchase, and pay in instalments while the merchant is paid up front. It also shows instalment messaging on product, category and cart pages, offers express checkout from the cart, supports refunds and works with block checkout. It suits stores in Afterpay markets; it needs an Afterpay merchant account and only covers supported currencies.

Pros

  • Official plugin from Afterpay with automatic refunds
  • Instalment messaging on product, category and cart pages, plus blocks and shortcodes
  • Express checkout button on the cart page
  • Supports the WooCommerce block checkout
  • Sandbox mode with separate test credentials

Cons

  • Needs an Afterpay merchant account and approval
  • Only available for the configured settlement currency unless multicurrency is enabled
  • Runs a cron job every 15 minutes to refresh payment limits
