Paid YITH add-on that adds configurable extra options to WooCommerce products. Store owners can add fields such as checkboxes, text areas, colour swatches, calendars and file uploads, each with an optional price, and limit which user roles see them. It suits shops that sell customisable or personalised products. Its limit is complexity: the settings are numerous, and it needs a YITH licence and WooCommerce.

Pros

  • Many field types, including file upload and calendar
  • Options can be shown only to chosen user roles
  • Product add-on type can bundle or upsell other products
  • Works with WPML and several WooCommerce extensions

Cons

  • Large settings surface that takes time to learn
  • Requires a paid YITH licence and WooCommerce
  • Stores its options in custom database tables
